Third month of pregnancy starts from week 9 to the end of week 12. You are now in the last stage of first trimester. Your baby now called a fetus, and as in the first and second month of pregnancy, your little one is developing a lot.

Hormonal changes can definitely affect your emotions. You may found yourself experiencing an array of emotions, from being sad to happy and joyous.

In the third month of pregnancy, you should do just like what you did in the past two months. You should take a careful look at your diet. If you are smoker, you should quit as soon as possible.

During the third month of pregnancy, all parts of your baby are developing, from tooth buds to toenails. Your baby now is fully formed, with arms, hands, fingers, feet and toes. External sex organs also starts to develop.

At this stage, your baby’s bones begin hardening, it’s kidneys start making urine. Your little one eyes will be able to move but it’s eyelids are fused together.

Sensory development continues too, your baby will start to be able to hear muffled sounds from the outside world.

The umbilical cord connects the fetus to your placenta and utrine wall. Your baby is about 3 inches long, and weighs almost an ounce.
